The position of Consultant Psychiatrist in General Adult Psychiatry at the Barnet Triage Team and Wellbeing Clinic involves a dual responsibility: first, supporting the Triage Team in screening GP referrals for medical input and advising primary care colleagues, and second, overseeing the care of patients attending the Wellbeing Clinic who require monitoring for depot medication or clozapine. This full-time role comprises 10 Programmed Activities, including 7.5 for Direct Clinical Care and 2.5 for Supporting Professional Activities, and emphasises leadership within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring timely assessments and appropriate referrals for mental health needs, as well as promoting independence and well-being for patients.

The role requires compliance with legal obligations and effective collaboration with other trust services and external agencies to provide high-quality care and support, reflecting the objectives of the Community Transformation Programme in Barnet.
