The Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Practitioner will assist the PBS Lead in delivering high-quality, evidence-based support for individuals with behaviours of concern within the Complex Community Services. Key responsibilities include conducting functional behaviour assessments (FBAs), creating and monitoring individualized Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs), and coaching staff on effective support strategies. The role involves collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring data is accurately collected and analyzed, and communicating assessments and plans sensitively to both service users and stakeholders.
The practitioner will focus on enhancing the quality of life for those supported, reducing restrictive practices, and complying with legal frameworks related to risk management. A PBS-related qualification is required for this position.
