The University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Medical Secretary for its Obstetrics and Gynaecology department. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to consultants and their teams, ensuring adherence to departmental and national standards while maintaining patient confidentiality. Key responsibilities include managing patient documentation, coordinating schedules, maintaining efficient office systems, and liaising with various teams to ensure smooth patient care pathways. The role requires strong organisational skills, effective communication, and collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance service delivery and maintain accurate patient records.

The position also involves training and supporting junior staff, contributing to service improvement initiatives, and managing the consultant's office tasks such as meeting arrangements and correspondence management. Candidates should be prepared to undertake project work and utilize Trust IT systems for data reporting and analysis.
