The Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified Biomedical Scientist to join their Haematology Department at Birmingham Women's Hospital. Candidates must be HCPC registered and have post-registration experience in a UK Haematology/Blood transfusion department. The department provides diagnostic and clinical services tailored to obstetric, gynaecological, neonatal, and fetal medicine needs, and conducts the national screening program for Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia. The role involves working in various sections of the department, participating in a 24/7 shift rota after training, and utilizing advanced laboratory equipment. The department is UKAS accredited and an IBMS approved training site. Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate relevant experience and qualifications in their applications.
