We are currently recruiting a Deputy Operations Manager in Acute Services who will play a pivotal role in the delivery of Urgent and Emergency Care and the Division C operational agenda.
We require an experienced manager with a track record of managing services within an acute teaching hospital and delivering targets. You will be a high achiever, motivated, flexible and enjoy working on both operational issues and leading service development.
You will possess the confidence and skills that will enable you to understand the complex business needs of the division.
You will have excellent people skills and the credibility and ability to collaborate, and influence, at every level and be able to demonstrate delivery of targets and innovation.

The key focus of this post will be internal to the Trust, delivering the key objectives and targets of the Directorate and organisation.
The postholder will coordinate the planning, development and implementation of service improvement, capital and quality improvement across Acute Services, including the Emergency Department and the wider medicine portfolio.
Leading the service areas they are responsible for, ensuring the delivery of key targets within the budgeted resources available. They will contribute to strategic and annual business planning for their service areas, including the engagement of senior medical and other staff, as required. They will administer clinical governance processes within their areas and assist in the management of risk.
Provide cross cover across the Directorate as required.
