The Biomedical Support Worker (Pathology Quality Assistant) at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Barnstaple will be responsible for overseeing and executing quality management processes within the Pathology Department. This includes managing quality control systems, utilizing the Q-Pulse Quality Management application, and monitoring temperature systems to ensure compliance with UKAS and Trust standards. The role requires collaboration with pathology staff to maintain high service standards and involves conducting audits, generating performance reports, and supporting equipment calibration.

The post holder will also serve as a quality coordinator, providing guidance on quality-related procedures and delivering basic training to staff. This part-time role, requiring 22.5 hours of work per week, is part of a supportive team culture that emphasises inclusivity and professional development.
