Band 3: £28,622 to £30,225 a year per annum inclusive of HCAS  FIXED TERM 

This role will primarily be focussed on supporting the Orthotists within the Orthotics Department at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.

Duties will include: fully utilising clinics, cashing up clinics, managing the Orthotics inbox, recording and validating activity on the PAS systems, and liaising with internal stakeholders. Good understanding of relevant legislation, e.g. Health & Safety, Safeguarding, Data Protection, Confidentiality is desirable. A sound working knowledge of ICS, MediTech and/or C-Scribe is an advantage but not essential.

The post holder will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to a busy team of Orthotists.

The post-holder will provide a courteous and professional reception service, and help ensure that all service users have a positive experience of the services we provide. We are looking for an independent, enthusiastic and well organised person to join our busy team. You must have strong interpersonal and IT skills. The successful candidate will be based within a small team, providing support for each other and ensuring continuation of service at all times. Multi-tasking and prioritisation is a key feature of the post.

This post is 1.0 WTE to cover Monday to Friday and the working hours are between 08:00 - 17:00.

We are looking for an independent, enthusiastic and well organised person to join our busy team. The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal and organising skills, attention to detail, IT skills and ability to communicate across all levels. The successful candidate will be providing support to the clinical teams and ensuring continuation of service at all times.

Duties will include: dealing with frequent telephone enquiries and face-to-face queries, processing referrals and other documents, recording and validating activity on PAS systems, and liaising with internal stakeholders. Good knowledge of National and Trust pathway targets and knowledge of medical terminology are an advantage.
