The Clinical Office Coordinator for Paediatrics at Ashford & St. Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Chertsey is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to consultants and their medical teams. This role includes managing clinical office administrators and assistants, coordinating workloads, ensuring efficient service delivery, and acting as a point of contact for patients. Key tasks involve managing clinic and theatre bookings, overseeing patient pathways, handling correspondence, and ensuring compliance with the Trust’s Access Policy. The coordinator will liaise with both patients and healthcare teams to manage appointments and waiting lists effectively while addressing patient queries and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Additionally, the position entails monitoring patient pathways, addressing any potential delays, and maintaining communication with other departments to support the smooth operation of clinical services. The coordinator will also participate in team meetings, train new staff, and assist in implementing new administrative technologies and practices. This role requires strong organisational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team, all while maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to Trust policies.
