Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and innovative band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to join the Acute Cardiac Centre, a 19-bedded coronary care unit specializing in care for patients with heart failure, adult congenital heart disease, and post-advanced cardiology interventions. The ideal candidate will be an experienced staff nurse with a solid background in cardiac care and strong leadership skills. They will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, guiding junior staff, and ensuring high standards of quality care. The role includes opportunities for professional development with support from the ward manager and a specialist education team.

In this position, the successful applicant will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, demonstrate initiative in managing clinical care, and act as a role model to staff and patients.
