The Junior Clinical Site Practitioner role at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a developmental position within the 24-hour Clinical Site Practitioner Team. The primary responsibilities include managing emergency and elective admissions to ensure safe patient placements, efficient patient flow, and optimal bed utilisation across the Trust. The role requires balancing high emergency rates with elective activities while achieving national and Trust operational targets.

In addition to providing senior nursing managerial support and conducting advanced patient assessments, the practitioner will also play a key role in coordinating emergency response efforts and managing serious incidents outside normal hours. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining high standards of care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring appropriate staffing and resource allocation to enhance patient experience and safety. This position offers a pathway to advance within the organisation, aiming towards a Band 8 role.
