ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY INTENSIVE CARE UNIT NHS
The Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking applications for a Clinical Fellow Higher (ST3-5/ST6+) position in Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) from February 5, 2025, to May 6, 2025. The successful candidate will primarily work within the Paediatric Department, handling clinical and administrative responsibilities akin to those of Specialty Registrars, while participating in a full shift pattern for the Middle Grade out-of-hours rota. Candidates should have a minimum of six months of NICU experience and one year in Paediatrics, with PICU experience being preferred. Alternatively, applicants with at least two years of experience in Anaesthesia or Accident and Emergency are also encouraged to apply, provided they have essential previous PICU/AICU experience.

The role offers the opportunity to gain expertise in Paediatric Intensive and High Dependency Care, including advanced ventilation techniques. While the post does not have Postgraduate Dean's approval for training recognition, support for study leave is available, and involvement in research and audit activities is highly encouraged. All applicants must possess MRCPCH or equivalent, and full registration with the General Medical Council is required at the time of application.
