Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking passionate and dedicated Registered Nurses or Operating Department Practitioners to join the theatre team at Bronglais Hospital in Aberystwyth. Candidates should have a strong interest in specializing in either Scrub or Anaesthetics and must excel in communication while collaborating effectively within a multi-disciplinary environment. The theatre department handles a variety of specialties, including emergency surgery, obstetrics, and orthopaedics, and the role may require travel to other sites. Proficiency in Welsh is desirable but not mandatory, as the Health Board offers support for staff to enhance their language skills during employment.

We are looking for a Registered Nurse/ Operating Department Practitioner who is passionate & motivated about delivering the best care possible, with excellent communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a committed and skilled multi-disciplinary team.

The theatre department at Bronglais Hospital covers a range of specialities including emergency surgery, obstetrics, ophthalmology, general surgery, trauma and orthopaedics. The theatre team comprises of scrub staff, circulating staff, Operating Department Practitioners, Recovery staff and HCSW's. The shift pattern will depend on the area worked and can be discussed at interview.

There may be an expectation to travel to other sites when needed.
