The South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Charge Nurse for its inpatient wards in Lambeth, London. The ideal candidate will be a proactive RMN or RLDN who is passionate about delivering recovery-focused, evidence-based patient care. The role involves overseeing care assessments, implementing and monitoring treatment plans in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team, and actively involving service users in their care. Additionally, the Charge Nurse will provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior staff, ensuring high standards of care while adhering to professional conduct regulations.

Responsibilities also include managing clinical environments, leading service development initiatives, and fostering positive relationships within the team to ensure effective communication and collaboration. The position requires strong leadership qualities, effective delegation, and the ability to handle complex clinical situations, all while promoting a culture of continuous improvement in service delivery. This position will relocate to Bethlem Hospital in April 2025, which will affect the salary structure.
