The South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking Educational Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) to work with children experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues in schools across the Kirklees area. The positions involve delivering evidence-based interventions and support, focusing on early intervention strategies, and utilizing a whole school approach to foster a culture of well-being. Candidates should have relevant experience or be in training to become registered EMHPs, as well as the ability to travel independently within the area.

This role requires practitioners to manage a caseload of young people, provide low-intensity CBT interventions, deliver workshops for various stakeholders, and engage in case management under the supervision of Senior CAMHS Practitioners. EMHPs will work collaboratively with children, families, and educational staff to develop intervention plans and ensure effective referrals and support, adhering to service protocols and promoting inclusive practices. Opportunities for professional development and supervision are provided within a supportive team structure, with the expectation of work aligning with school schedules.
