The South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Service Manager for Pathology Services to join their Support Services Division in Warwick. The role involves supporting the Clinical Operational Manager in the day-to-day management of the pathology services provided by Coventry and Warwickshire Pathology Services (CWPS). The successful candidate will oversee operational activities, promote effective communication between the Trust and CWPS, ensure compliance with governance and health and safety standards, and manage financial performance within designated budgets. Strong leadership, resilience, and experience working in NHS clinical and operational teams are essential.

In addition to managing administrative support teams, the Service Manager will monitor performance, facilitate audits, and lead improvements to enhance service delivery and meet Trust targets. This position offers an opportunity for professional growth and advancement within the organisation. The post-holder will be required to foster collaborative relationships among various stakeholders, manage staff effectively, ensure compliance with CQC standards, and contribute to enhancing patient care within the pathology services.
