The Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a Health Care Assistant for Ward 6, a specialized respiratory care unit with 20 beds, including an 8-bed respiratory support area for non-invasive ventilation. The role involves providing essential nursing care under the supervision of a Registered General Nurse, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Candidates should possess a friendly demeanor for engaging with patients and their families, and experience in a hospital setting is preferred. While Welsh language proficiency is desirable, applications in both Welsh and English are welcomed.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to join ward 6 Respiratory Ward. Ward 6 is a twenty bedded unit specialising in respiratory care inclusive of an 8 bedded respiratory support unit for the provision of non invasive ventilation.

Applicants must have an approachable manner necessary to deal with patients and their relatives and desirable experience of a hospital environment.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Applicant will work as part of a team of nurses on the ward and undertake patient fundamentals of nursing care tasks under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered General Nurse responsible for the patient's management.

You will need to be flexible and dynamic in your approach in delivering care to patients. The post holder needs to have good communication skills and be an effective team player.
