The Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Environmental Waste Operative to join their team, working 37.5 hours per week in a seven-day service. Candidates should be self-motivated and possess strong communication skills, with experience in public interaction and preferably in waste management. The primary responsibilities include the proper handling and disposal of waste, transporting it to designated Waste Transfer Stations, and ensuring compliance with waste management policies.

The role involves collecting hospital waste and laundry according to set schedules, operating electric vehicles and waste compaction machines, and maintaining cleanliness in waste storage areas. Additional duties include litter collection, equipment inspections, and following incident reporting procedures when necessary.
