Applicants from within the NHS will be offered on a secondment basis only, agreement should be obtained from their employer prior to submitting the application.
The appointee will become a member of the School Executive Team. They will be expected to attend training committee meetings, and support and co-ordinate the work of the TPDs.
The role of Associate Head of School is to work with and support the NHS England Postgraduate Dean in leading the delivery of a wide range of functions, aligned to the NHS England mandate
The post will be an initial 3-year secondment, with potential for extension upon discussion.
To support the Postgraduate Dean, Heads of Schools with their Associates work across the spectrum of health and where relevant, social care, within the context of a team, so that the provision of education reflects changing service models. This will deliver an integrated workforce comprising individuals from a spectrum of professional and other backgrounds.
To work alongside the RCOA Regional Advisor to ensure the curriculum is delivered to the national standard and recruitment to the programme is managed alongside ANRO to national specifications.
