FAMILY MULTI-DISCIPLINARY NHS NIGHTS WEEKEND
Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Band 6 Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse for their Paediatric Critical Care team. This role involves providing clinical leadership and ensuring high standards of individualized nursing care for critically ill children, while working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. Responsibilities include managing the Pediatric Critical Care Unit (PCCU) in the absence of a Senior Sister/Charge Nurse and participating in a mixed shift pattern of days, nights, and weekends, with a minimum commitment of 23 hours per week.

Candidates should have at least three years of post-registration experience and specialized training in Paediatric Critical Care. The ideal applicant is enthusiastic, self-motivated, possesses excellent clinical and communication skills, and is capable of leading and mentoring junior staff, as well as pre and post-registration students. This position also offers the opportunity to engage in outreach and retrieval services upon completion of relevant competencies.
