Overview:
InHealth Group is seeking an MRI Radiographer for their busy Radiography Department in Kingston. The successful candidate will provide high-quality MRI imaging and ensure optimal patient care throughout the scanning process, from referral to results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct MRI procedures following best practice standards.
- Support patients during their MRI experience, respecting their cultural and spiritual beliefs.
- Perform quality assurance checks on MRI equipment.
- Manage patient bookings and maintain accurate patient information.
- Complete competency assessments and adhere to operational procedures.
- Share knowledge and experience with the team to promote professional growth.
Qualifications:
- BSc in Radiography or equivalent.
- Valid registration with a professional body (HCPC).
- Understanding of MRI physics, scanning techniques, and patient care.
- Strong professionalism and technical proficiency.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team under pressure.
- Commitment to personal career development in radiography.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience with MRI equipment in hospital or mobile settings.

- A proven knowledge of the requirements of a radiographers role regarding the care of patients, their careers and other colleagues
- A high level of professionalism and technical standard of work
- Aptitude towards improving quality
- The ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of the implications of the Data Protection Act, Caldicott Principles and GDPR
- A flexible approach to work and able to
work across 7 days (Mon-Sun)
- A strong team player attitude, being supportive, caring, reliable and trustworthy
- The ability to be calm when working under pressure and in a busy environment
- A positive attitude, taking pride in their work and is passionate about the service they provide
