Devon Partnership NHS Trust is looking for a Lead Occupational Therapist to oversee and support occupational therapists in their Adult and Older People's Mental Health (OPMH) services for a 12-month fixed-term position, working 30 hours per week. This role offers a distinct opportunity to advance leadership skills within the profession during a transformative period for the Trust’s occupational therapy services. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Head of Profession to drive change, implement strategic plans, and facilitate development initiatives, while also managing a complex caseload.

Key responsibilities include providing professional leadership, participating in strategic planning, and managing service delivery in both inpatient and community settings. The Lead Occupational Therapist will engage actively with various stakeholders, promote clinical effectiveness, and coach staff through professional development initiatives. Additionally, the role encompasses ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, overseeing occupational therapy training placements, and championing service user engagement.
