Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a passionate and experienced Learning Disabilities and Autism Lead Nurse to join their Safeguarding team. This new role involves providing professional nursing leadership, enhancing clinical practice, and delivering high-quality, inclusive care for patients with learning disabilities and autism across Birmingham Women's Hospital and Birmingham Children's Hospital. The Lead Nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and senior management to implement the Learning Disabilities and Autism strategy, while also cultivating partnerships with external organisations to support patients and their families.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified nurse with clinical and leadership experience in this specialty, possessing excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous improvement. Responsibilities will include advocating for patients, driving service improvements, and ensuring a compassionate environment.
