We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and committed professional with excellent communication skills to help us improve relationships with underrepresented communities. The role will specifically help to increase feedback from diverse communities on their experience of using ambulance services as well as increasing our awareness and understanding of cultural issues and potential barriers.
We provide 24/7 urgent and emergency care for people across the North West as well as the NHS 111 service and patient transport. You will be joining a friendly and busy team at the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust, based at our Ladybridge headquarters in Bolton. We benefit from a hybrid working arrangement, working both in the office and at home. This is a band 7 role, working 37.5 hours a week, currently funded until 31st March 2025.
Working with the Head of Communications and Engagement and the Patient Engagement Team you will be responsible for co-ordinating our approach to our accessibility, equality, diversity and inclusion priorities and improving the experience of care and services for patients and service users.
