Band 3: £24,071 to £25,674 a year per annum  PERMANENT  GOOD SALARY

As a Learning Disability & Autism Liaison Team Administrator you will be supporting a warm, welcoming and creative team of specialist nurses to deliver a service to patients with Learning Disability and Autism throughout the hospital, both inpatient and outpatient.The Learning Disability and Autism Liaison Service is an innovative and developing team. There is a wide variety in the needs of people we support and the situations we support with, making this an interesting role with varied days.

You will need to adapt your style of communication according to need and situation of the patient. You will be required to have problem solving skills, be able to manage expectations and use your judgement.

You will support the Liaison Nurses to deliver day-to-day administrative duties, using various IT systems, ensuring that all administrative work is completed as required with accuracy and within set timeframes.

You will also be asked to support the team with making accessible information. Supporting performance reporting and collection of data for audits and CQC will also form a part of the role.

You will also be required to communicate effectively and efficiently with all levels of management and staff, always displaying a high level of tact and diplomacy and processing sensitive information confidentially.

To carry out day to day administrative duties

To add and update Patient information on various IT systems.

Assist team to arrange meetings and appointments

To answer the phone to patients, families, and other professionals

To support team with writing minutes at meetings.

To ensure data systems are kept up to date as required

To signpost to other services as required.

To provide support to team in making information accessible, ie. Easy Read & Social Stories.

To support team with projects and development within the hospital

To support team with completing audits.

To support team in liaising with Community Services.
