The University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated individual for the role of Resuscitation Officer - Developmental Role, based at the Royal Bournemouth and Poole Hospital. This position involves developing and delivering a variety of clinical resuscitation and deteriorating patient training programs for staff in both adult and pediatric areas, alongside working clinically as part of medical emergency teams. The role offers significant opportunities for personal and professional growth, particularly as the Resuscitation Service undergoes transformation following a recent merger.

Candidates will need to have NMC or HCPC registration and will be responsible for providing life support courses, conducting audits of emergency calls, and delivering educational support to clinical teams involved in emergencies. Successful applicants will receive support to develop educational and clinical competencies, with a pathway to advance to a Senior Resuscitation Officer role. Those with existing experience or qualifications in education and acute clinical practice may be eligible for a Band 7 post upon appointment.
