The Rough Sleepers Mental Health Nurse position with Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust involves providing mental health support to marginalized individuals experiencing homelessness in Brent. The role requires the successful candidate to engage creatively with clients in various settings, including sleep sites, day centers, and hostels while collaborating with statutory mental health services, housing providers, and social care teams. Primary responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, offering short-term interventions, managing an allocated caseload, and advocating for client access to essential services.

The position is suited for a dynamic, enthusiastic mental health nurse, preferably with two years of post-registration experience, though a less experienced nurse could be considered for a developmental role. The role also emphasises the importance of teamwork, regular outreach sessions, and maintaining communication with external agencies to ensure a coordinated service. The successful applicant will receive robust induction and ongoing training, with opportunities to contribute to the development of team policies and engage in professional growth within a supportive multi-disciplinary environment.
