The role of Senior Community Nurse at the Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust involves supporting the Adult Community Night Nursing Service in the Richmond area. The position entails working two night shifts per week, assisting the Community Team Manager with a designated caseload and ensuring that holistic assessments are conducted by the nursing team. The successful candidate will exhibit strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills to manage the community nursing team and foster a competent workforce that addresses patient needs.

In addition to providing direct patient care, the Senior Community Nurse will have opportunities for professional development through comprehensive training programs, including District Nursing specialist training and leadership courses. Responsibilities also include taking the lead on specific nursing practices, mentoring less experienced staff, and deputizing for the Locality Nursing Team Manager when necessary. A full UK driving license and access to a car are required for this role, reflecting the organisation's commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in the community.
