Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic and motivated Theatre Practitioner (Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner) to join their team in Manchester, primarily based at Wythenshawe Hospital. This role is critical in providing high-quality peri-operative care, supporting surgeons and anaesthetists during surgery, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout their surgical journey. The practitioner will also be responsible for preparing necessary surgical equipment and monitoring patients in the recovery area, ensuring they receive appropriate treatment until discharge.

Candidates should possess excellent clinical knowledge in Anaesthetic and Recovery, strong communication, management, and teamwork skills. This position is part of a broader effort to enhance healthcare delivery across the Greater Manchester area, and there may be opportunities to work across various theatre sites.
