The SET CAMHS Crisis STAR Worker role at NELFT in Thundersley involves supporting young people undergoing brief admissions to inpatient units, focusing on assessing their mental health needs. The position is part of the crisis service, requiring the post holder to conduct support calls, community visits, and brief therapeutic interventions, while collaborating with local CAMHS teams, schools, and partner agencies to enhance young people's care plans. Additionally, the role includes responsibilities for administrative tasks, including data collection and reporting, as well as providing evidence-based interventions under clinical supervision.

The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team, supporting therapeutic home treatments and assisting families from diverse backgrounds. Regular supervision from senior clinicians and ample continuing professional development opportunities are provided.
