Public Health Wales is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Secretary to provide comprehensive secretarial support to a team of Consultant Medical Staff at the South East Wales Breast Screening Centre in Cardiff. The role involves facilitating effective communication among medical teams, participating in the planning and implementation of reading and assessment clinics, and providing non-clinical advice to service users and their families in both Welsh and English.

Key responsibilities include managing the assessment pathway, processing clinic assessments, typing letters, recording clinical data, and creating electronic treatment referrals. The ideal candidate should possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in audio and copy typing, along with high-level organisational abilities. While the ability to speak Welsh is desirable, applications are welcome from English and Welsh speakers alike.
