The Patient Pathway Officer at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust will provide vital administrative support to the Radiotherapy department, Oncology clinics, and Women’s Services. The role includes delivering quality reception services, ensuring efficient communication among patients, clinicians, and administrative teams, and maintaining a high standard of customer care. The officer will be responsible for various tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient documentation, assisting with audits, and participating in service improvement projects. The position requires flexibility in working hours and the ability to cover across departments.

In addition to standard administrative functions, the Patient Pathway Officer will handle logistics related to patient care, including medication collection from the pharmacy, transportation arrangements, and data management using the hospital's Careflow system. The officer will also assist in training new staff and address patient queries and complaints promptly, ensuring adherence to Trust policies and standards. As part of a collaborative team, the role supports the upcoming merger of North Mid and Royal Free London in their commitment to enhancing patient services and community health.
