The Head of System Finance position at NHS Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent Integrated Care Board offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance leader to enhance their career by overseeing the strategic financial management of the Integrated Care System (ICS). This role involves crafting the system's financial strategy, managing a budget exceeding £2 billion, and ensuring the integration of finance, performance, and workforce information across multiple organisations. The head will collaborate closely with senior finance professionals, support the preparation of statutory plans and performance reporting, and lead the annual financial planning process.

In addition to coordinating system-level financial planning and reporting, the post holder will engage with diverse stakeholders, manage sensitive financial issues, and serve as a key liaison for NHS England. Responsibilities also include facilitating the development of effective financial processes, leading working groups, and representing the Director of Planning in various meetings.
