Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is looking to appoint either a qualified or trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join the Division of Medicine at Walsall Manor Hospital. The role emphasises supporting the development of ACPs, particularly within Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC), and requires the successful candidate to manage trainee ACPs, contribute to patient care, and oversee clinical operations in Acute Medicine. Trainee ACPs will undergo training, including enrollment in an MSc program in Advanced Practice in Acute Medicine, while gaining hands-on experience across various areas of Acute Medicine.

The qualified ACP will practice independently, providing expert clinical support and mentorship to junior staff while ensuring exemplary, evidence-based patient care for individuals with undiagnosed problems. The position involves a balanced focus on clinical responsibilities (80%) and non-clinical duties (20%), necessitating strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a collaborative care environment within the medical team.
