The Croydon Health Services NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Acute Occupational Therapist to join their Acute Therapy Team, which includes colleagues in Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, and Physiotherapy. This role involves providing inpatient therapy to assist patients in their recovery from acute illnesses or surgeries and facilitating discharge planning. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, employing evidence-based, client-centered approaches, and will rotate across various acute care areas such as medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, and elderly care.

In addition to delivering direct patient care, the role includes leadership responsibilities—supervising junior staff and Occupational Therapy students, as well as participating in the development and evaluation of therapy services. The candidate will also play a part in overseeing specific projects within the team, ensuring the continuous improvement of the Trust's Therapy service. Supervision and guidance will be provided by a Band 7 Occupational Therapist.
