The role of "Minor Illness Practitioner Bank" at Surrey Heath Community Providers Ltd in Camberley involves providing face-to-face management of minor illnesses as part of a multi-disciplinary team within urgent care for registered patients of GP Practices in Surrey Heath. The practitioner will deliver skilled, evidence-based nursing or allied health professional services, support policy and procedure development, and demonstrate clinical leadership when necessary.

The position requires autonomous functioning within the practitioner's competency, while being supported by Advanced Clinical Practitioners and GPs. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, offering advice, prescribing medications within their scope, and coordinating care with external health professionals. Additional duties involve participating in patient triage, collaborating with patients and caregivers for health assessments, and promoting health to mitigate disease risks. The practitioner should also be confident in digital consultations as needed.
