The role of "Staff Nurse - Endoscopy" at Swansea Bay University Health Board involves providing high-quality nursing care in the busy endoscopy department, assisting with endoscopic and radiological procedures, and collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations. The health board seeks a motivated Registered Nurse with a commitment to professional development. The position is based in the Singleton Endoscopy Unit, with the possibility of rotating across Singleton, Morriston, and Neath Port Talbot Hospitals. The role requires flexibility in shifts, including weekends, bank holidays, and potential on-call duties. Previous endoscopy experience is not necessary, and knowledge of Welsh is desirable but not mandatory.

Carry out all relevant forms of nursing care. Demonstrating a positive attitude to providing a quality service. Provide a high standard of nursing care withinthe department, assist with Endoscopic and radiological procedures, liaise with other departments and wards to maintain smoothrunning of lists.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team of nurses working within our busy endoscopy departments which are currently working towards achieving JAG accreditation.

If you are eager to learn, have a flexible approach to work and are reliable and enthusiastic, we would like to hear from you. You should be a Registered Nurse with extensive skills and commitment to continuing professional development.

The post is based in Singleton Endoscopy Unit. However you will rotate to service needs in all three of the units across, Singleton, Morriston and Neath Port Talbot Hospitals.

Shift Patterns will be over 7 days with potential weekend and Bank holiday working and in the future take part in an on call rota at Morriston Hospital.

Previous Endoscopy experience is not required.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
