The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an experienced oncology nurse to fill the role of CRF Outpatients Charge Nurse in Manchester. This position requires strong clinical expertise and leadership skills to support the daily operations of outpatient services at the NIHR Manchester Clinical Research Facility (CRF). The successful candidate will collaborate with Senior Charge Nurses and Matron to ensure safe and efficient patient care, particularly within phlebotomy and clinic operations. Key responsibilities include managing staff, coordinating care for unwell patients, and implementing service improvements while actively promoting high standards of patient care and safety.

Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate changes within a healthcare setting. The role involves line management of the Senior Healthcare Assistant team, fostering their development, and ensuring compliance with training requirements. The position offers a full-time, one-year contract with secondment opportunities, and emphasises collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the patient experience in cancer research.
