The Automation Developer, Band 6, at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Gloucester is responsible for the development, testing, maintenance, and support of both clinical and corporate robotic process automations. This role entails managing critical clinical system automation and involves utilizing various technologies, programming languages, and tools. The Automation Developer will collaborate with the System Development Team on system architecture design, quality assurance, and release management, while also engaging with business analysts to translate organisational needs into effective technical solutions.

Additionally, the position demands strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and the capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Automation Developer will lead project development teams, deliver automation projects within budget and specifications, and ensure adherence to healthcare standards. This includes providing training and documentation for system support teams, implementing proactive systems monitoring, and working closely with IT and Cyber Teams to maintain security and compliance with trust standards.
