The Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Post-Graduate Medical Education (PGME) Foundation Co-ordinator to provide comprehensive administrative support for the Foundation Training Programme, which involves overseeing day-to-day operations, coordinating teaching sessions, managing study leave processes, and ensuring compliance with National Foundation Guidelines. The role requires self-motivation, proactive problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure while maintaining confidentiality and communication with various stakeholders, including NHSE and local educational leaders.

Key responsibilities include coordinating the Local Foundation Teaching Programme, facilitating the appraisal process for Foundation Doctors, managing training-related logistics, and handling data analysis for program evaluations. The position is part-time at 30 hours per week, with fixed hours on Mondays and Tuesdays and flexibility on other days. Candidates must demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently, contributing to a collaborative team environment to enhance the educational experience for Resident Doctors in Gloucestershire.
