CARDIAC RHYTHM MANAGEMENT ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY NHS VENTRICULAR ARRHYTHMIA
The University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking a motivated Chief Cardiac Physiologist to join their cardiac rhythm management team in Stoke-On-Trent. This role involves supporting the pacing and devices service, which implants approximately 1500 devices annually, including CRT, ICD, loop recorders, and bradycardia pacemakers. The successful candidate will lead in providing technical support for both simple and complex device implants and will oversee pacemaker follow-ups in clinic while also contributing to the electrophysiology (EP) service, with training provided.

As part of a dedicated team, the new Chief Cardiac Physiologist will work alongside four consultant electrophysiologists in a busy lab that conducts various EP studies, including sophisticated 3D mapping for arrhythmias. The position includes responsibilities such as managing out-of-hours pacing services for emergency admissions.
