The Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Medical Secretary for its Gastroenterology Department at the Royal Bolton Hospital. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a demanding workload autonomously while working effectively within a dynamic team. Key responsibilities include acting as the first point of contact for the service, prioritizing tasks, handling clinical typing, coordinating patient case notes and test results, and updating RTT pathways.

Candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, initiative, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient service. A typing test will be administered during the interview process, and successful candidates will have a solid understanding of administrative systems and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and patients at various levels.
