The role of Senior Patient Administrator at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust involves providing comprehensive administrative support to the Patient Access Division, working 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will work both independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, managing a variety of administrative tasks while demonstrating strong communication, organisation, and adaptability skills. Key responsibilities include overseeing the team of Patient Administrators, coordinating patient pathways, managing waiting lists, booking surgeries in accordance with Trust policies, and ensuring a high standard of customer service for patients.

Additionally, the Senior Patient Administrator will be involved in staff management, including training and supervision of new employees, contributing to process improvements, and maintaining compliance with administrative policies. The position requires proficiency in information technology systems, specifically Cerner, to effectively manage patient data and ensure timely communication with clinical teams and patients. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively are crucial for this role, along with a strong focus on enhancing patient services and maintaining operational efficiency.
