The Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Oncology and Haematology Helpline Nurse Manager & Acute Oncology Lead for its Huddersfield location. This role involves delivering and managing the helpline service for oncology and haematology, leading a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical standards. The successful candidate will have substantial experience in oncology/haematology, along with strong leadership and managerial skills to facilitate team development and align departmental objectives with Trust goals.

Key responsibilities include overseeing clinical practices, ensuring efficient triage and referral processes for patients, managing staff and resources effectively, and fostering a collaborative environment for continuous improvement in patient care. Additionally, the role requires participation in quality assurance processes, development of training programs, and engagement in research initiatives to ensure evidence-based practices are maintained across the helpline and acute oncology services.
