The experienced recruit will operate within an integrated, multi-disciplinary team and will mainly undertake commissioning and care purchasing tasks for service users, working within the framework of the Mental Capacity Act 2005. Social work is critical in upholding individuals' human rights, fostering a strengths and asset based approach to an individual's mental health recovery. We are looking for social workers who take an anti-oppressive approach to social care interventions. Social work expertise is a key component to multi-disciplinary integrated working. We have roles which will enable you to carry out specific social care duties for individuals We are a highly motivated and passionate about social care in Manchester and Manchester social workers are dedicated to the delivery of high quality, person centred, strength based and empowering assessments and support. If you are compassionate, hardworking and motivated this is the role for you. The successful candidate will also complete assessments for clients and carers and at times also provide care coordination in line with the Trust Care Programme Approach (CPA) guidance and policies. You will be allocated care coordinator/lead professional for a caseload of both organic & functional clients.
