The role of a Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD) at HMP Hewell in Redditch involves providing high-quality nursing care within a dynamic Integrated Mental Health and Substance Misuse Team. The position targets experienced professionals who are eager to innovate in prison healthcare by delivering evidence-based interventions, managing caseloads, conducting assessments, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to support individuals throughout their journey from assessment to discharge.

The successful candidate will adopt a recovery-focused and holistic approach, utilizing the stepped care model and the Care Programme Approach to develop personalized care plans. Responsibilities include facilitating therapeutic group work, managing nursing staff, and ensuring the effective transition of care, particularly for those needing hospital treatment under the Mental Health Act.
