The South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time Band 6 Rheumatology Specialist Nurse for its busy outpatient department in Sunderland. The role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes consultants, specialist nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists, and occupational therapists to support patients with conditions like rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. The successful candidate will engage in patient education, drug monitoring, and assessments, while also contributing to nurse-led clinics.
