The Quality Clerk at County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust will play a crucial role in supporting the Pathology team's Quality Manager to uphold and enhance quality standards across various pathology services. The successful candidate will assist in preparing data for reports, conducting trend analyses of incidents, coordinating pathology meetings, and managing the Quality Management System to meet regulatory standards, including UKAS and ISO certifications. Responsibilities will encompass maintaining records, supporting internal and external quality assessments, data analysis, auditing, report generation, and providing training and administrative support to staff at different levels.

The position requires a strong understanding of pathology laboratory information systems and how they integrate with the Trust's IT systems. The Quality Clerk must be able to travel independently across Durham and Darlington to support cross-site operations. This role demands a proactive individual capable of working autonomously while adhering to departmental procedures and quality management protocols, ultimately contributing to the trust's mission to provide high-quality integrated care to the local population.
