The position of B5/6 Community Occupational Therapist (Developmental) at the Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Chertsey offers an opportunity to engage in a dynamic Occupational Therapy service within the Runnymede and Spelthorne Community Mental Health Recovery Services. This role comprises 50% delivery of therapeutic interventions and 50% care coordination for clients with occupational needs. The therapist will implement both individual and group programs, such as the 20-week Occupation Matters Programme and the 6-week Recovery through Occupation group, utilizing innovative approaches grounded in occupational science and neuroscience.

Candidates should have experience in mental health, a commitment to evidence-based practice, and the ability to coordinate care effectively. The position emphasises professional development through supervision and training opportunities, promoting high-quality occupational therapy focused on recovery. A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are required due to the community-based nature of the role, which values creativity, initiative, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
