The North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare Trust is seeking Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) for the Stoke NHS Talking Therapy Service, which addresses a wide range of mental health issues, particularly anxiety disorders and depression. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers a salary between £26,530 and £29,114 per annum. Candidates should have substantial paid experience in a mental health setting and, upon successful application, will be supported to enroll in the postgraduate certificate PWP course at Newham University starting in February 2025.

As a trainee PWP, you will conduct patient-centered interviews to identify areas for change and assess risks. The role requires adherence to the standards and guidelines set by relevant health authorities and involves regular preparation and presentation of clinical information to your supervisors. This ensures safe practice and compliance with clinical governance obligations throughout your training.
