The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Group Chief Digital Information Officer to lead the digital services for one of the largest NHS trusts in the UK. This pivotal role involves developing and delivering an ambitious digital strategy aimed at enhancing the experience of both colleagues and patients, while maximizing the value from the trust's significant investment in an Electronic Patient Record system (Cerner). The successful candidate will work closely with clinical and professional services, manage a large digital services team of over 100 staff, oversee a multi-million-pound budget, and engage with senior stakeholders to drive technology initiatives within both the trust and the broader health economy.

In this senior leadership position, the CDO will act as an ambassador for IT and digital technology, fostering collaborations with key stakeholders and ensuring that the trust plays a leading role in regional healthcare technology advancements. The role requires strong functional leadership, a positive team culture, and a commitment to fast-paced, customer-focused digital services. The CDO will also oversee the integration of digital teams within the expanded organisation and champion digital transformation across North Central London and beyond.
